Gold is a little too far forward. For seats that are in the middle towards the back a bit (what I consider best) you only need a silver ticket. I said to go with the silver because it’s cheaper and even with my gold ticket, I chose to sit in the silver section.

Is gold not as good as silver? I’m used to American marketing with the hierarchy is:

Platinum > Gold > Silver

why didn’t the gold level work out well? I want more details.

They also did all of this stuff in Thailand, but it wasn’t the national anthem exactly, it was “The King’s Song” that they played before every movie — the song is accompanied by a photo montage of the Kind and his good works. I think it’s a pretty strange thing to do before a movie but, for some reason, the first time I experienced it I cried a little at the end. Don’t tell anyone.
